I'm a writer and editor with a passion for covering art and culture, profiling interesting people and mentoring new writers. I'm happiest when I can get people talking about the things their friends and family are sick of hearing them go on about.
In the summer of 2020 I returned (virtually) to the Chautauquan Daily to report on their remote season as the visual arts, opera and dance reporter. This meant reporting on the upcoming virtual lectures, weekly opera and dance hours and the Institution's in-person and virtual art exhibitions. For the Institution's 10 week season, I wrote an average of five articles a week.

In the summer of 2019 I worked at Chautauqua Institution in New York as the Chautauquan Daily's visual arts reporter. The Institution is home to two professionally curated art galleries and the Chautauqua School of Art. I collaborated with the gallery staff and school faculty to write an average of four articles a week under the pressure of daily newspaper deadlines. Besides arts reporting, I wrote previews for upcoming book signings at the Chautauqua book store and mainstage lectures, interviewing a variety of activists, writers, performers and public figures.
